Romantic. Quaint. Intimate. Perfect. This is how I would describe Jeff & Nikki's wedding day. The weather was amazing (compared to this craziness we've been experiencing in the last few weeks)...and the location was beautiful.
Jeff and Nikki were married in the small town of Afton, MN. If you've never been there...you should go...if it's just to walk the trails, ride your bike, rev your Harley...or whatever floats your boat. Before they said I Do...we walked around the little town of Afton for a bit. Then we ventured out to Nikki's grandparents' farm nearby. It was classic. Everywhere on the property there were special buildings and spaces that had a significant meaning to their family...the property has been in the family for generations...and it gives off that home-town vibe. I loved it.
Their day began and ended at the Afton House Inn...which is one of the most charming spaces I've been in for a wedding reception...

It was the most perfect day for an outdoor ceremony...they couldn't have been more blessed...well...unless it started raining money...but that I've only seen that happen once.
Nikki put a lot of love into this wedding...the favors were one of my favorite things...a seedling white pine for each guest!!! I was in love. Not only that, but Nikki also hand painted her cake topper to match Dennis the Dog, made the bridesmaids' jewelry, and also crafted the adorable ring bearer's pillow...

The evening ended with live music from McGregor's own Tim Haussner Band...and they were fabulous...
