This wedding day was uber-special. I could go on and on about it for hours. But, I won't keep you too long. Let me just say, that on the morning of her wedding, Kaeli's sister and Matron of Honor went into labor. Their family added a little baby that day...and yet everyone remained calm and collected. I don't know how I would have gotten through that.
It was also scheduled to rain all day...but somehow, the outdoor ceremony and pictures escaped the threat, and it didn't start down-pouring until dinner time...and just as we were ready to head back out after dinner....the clouds parted. I love when that happens.
The wedding ceremony itself took place on Kaeli's family's beautiful property in Brainerd. Being very near to Madden's...we spent a little time there too, before heading over to the gorgeous wedding reception at The Legacy at Cragun's.

Ok - Kaeli's parents win the speech of the year award. It was maybe the funniest thing I've seen. They did a lip-sink to "You're Still the One"...as a bit of advice for Derek and Kaeli. It was awesome.
An evening send-off with sparklers...PERFECTION.
Derek and Kaeli...I hope that 25 years from now, at your childrens' weddings, you're lip-sinking to the lyrics "You're Still the One".
