There have been many blessings in my business...but this family is definitely among the biggest.  Not only have they been so supportive of what I do....but they tell all of their friends and family about it too!  They are nothing short of wonderful.  I'm not sure what I'd be doing if it weren't for them...probably still practicing law (like 4 out of the 7 people in these photos)!  But, because of them, and others like them....my business took off...and I was given the opportunity to pursue my dream of running my own business...Fishtale.

When I realized that we'd all be down in Mexico for the same wedding at the same time...I decided that we had to get some family photos in!! You may recognize several of these couples....as I have photographed a few of them in the past...and will be photographing Kevin & Katie's wedding in Napa next spring. But, to get to capture them as one giant family was a first for me.  They are a tight-knit group.  They are supportive and loving to each other, are all extremely intelligent, entrepreneurial, talented....and just plain fun...most would say they are a dream family. 

I love them.

We have been friends for a decade...but she didn't like me at first.  She says this without hesitation.  We were both extroverted.  Both loud.  Both liked to be the funny one.  Both liked to be the center of attention.  There wasn't room for both of us to be in the same room.  But I liked her.  She was like the cool, older sister I never had.  And, as tends to happen, I grew on her.  Ten years later...I'm probably still growing on her.  She has been there at every crucial step in my life in those past ten years...and I'd like to think that I've been there for her...

She is one of my closest, dearest friends.  She is sincere, caring, funny, real and willing to tell it like it is.  She will tell you if those jeans make you look fat (in a semi-nice way, of course).  She is that friend that you can call in the middle of the night and know that she will answer if you need her to.  We have had fights like sisters.  We have cried on each other's shoulders... and laughed 'til we peed our pants (sorry internet...but it happens).  We have secrets...yet we are both an open book...(obviously...did you not see what I just wrote!?)....

I love her.  And I'm going to love her little baby too.  And her hubby....well...let's just say...he is perfect.  Not only for her, but, I am serious, he is pretty much perfect.

Ashley and Tommy have been married for a couple of years now...but they wanted updated family pictures...with their baby...Harvey.  And...I must say...Harvey is a very big baby...literally.  He's a big, gentle goldendoodle...and is one of the cutest pups I've seen.
