I just can't contain my excitement any longer...two of our weddings currently grace the beautiful pages of this winter's Minnesota Bride. If you don't have a copy of this magazine yet...make sure to pick it up. It is full of beautiful imagery and helpful insights...
I said it before, and I'll say it again, Dennis...(Nikki & Jeff's adorable dog)...is a star. And he proved it. He gets a page all on his own. Don't you just want to pick him up and hug him? More pictures of Dennis can be found on Nikki & Jeff's previous blog features here and here.
Kaeli & Derek's beautiful Brainerd wedding is also featured in the Real Weddings section of the Minnesota Bride. Their story was one of complete emotion...Kaeli's sister and Matron of Honor went into labor on the morning of the wedding. Needless to say...it was an eventful and unforgettable day. "I was hoping for snow," she said. "Isn't Minnesota supposed to be snowy??" And like that...her words were magical. The snow started falling, and Mike got to experience a Minnesota winter day. Being from the south, Mike isn't used to cold or the snow. However, being a true Minnesotan, it was Angela's hope to have a white winter engagement session.
This couple is absolutely adorable together. They met at Notre Dame...where they both went to school. Talk about a couple of smarties. They are classy, sophisticated...and completely in love.
Because huge snow flakes started falling just as we were starting...this session ended up being one of my favorites...and one of the most romantic...

Rachel is a talented photographer in her own right...so when she contacted me to photograph her maternity session...I was honored. She and her hubby Jake are expecting twins!! Just having had a baby myself, I am so excited for them...but I can't fathom taking care of two little ones at the same time! They will definitely have their hands full...but two babies is twice the love.
We started this session out at Rachel's brand new studio space. It is beautiful. After that, they were willing to brave it out in the snow for me... and it was so worth it.

One thing is for sure...these babies are going to be uber-photogenic. Look at these two...
